That Add ment WHAT?


i normally do not "read" into an add. last class was the first time i have ever had to think about what the add really meant and what i thought the add meant. i totally got two different reasons for the add. (for the in class and my add) i think it is so cool, after you glance at the add then look "into" the add you can almost feel what the add makers are wanting you to know, and change your mind to the product, although i think differently about smoking, and i have a huge turn off towards smoking i thought it was interesting to look at the add and talk about what i thought the add was about and what other people thought about the add. i know we all had some of the same idea and some different. it is funny how a picture really can say one thousand words. when at a first glance it might be yelling one point and when you look at it for a few minutes you get something different, the wonderful picture has many meaning (and many words depending on how you look at the picture).

  1. You are right. I really do think ads have a thousand words. I had never read that much into an ad before Tuesday's class. Although some people didn't have the same feelings about the ad as us that just shows how much you can really pull from an ad.
